Alyssa Cesarini

Alyssa Cesarini is a driven social entrepreneur, revered as a change maker in the domestic work & staffing industry and an expert on how mental health has impacted the industry, it’s workers, the children and the homes in which many domestic workers are employed. She’s an advocate and ally in this space and represents domestic workers and families alike. Alyssa was born in New York, raised in the Poconos, and was graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Journalism and English. Alyssa returned to school and earned a second B.A., this time in psychology while simultaneously signing on as nanny for the spirited children of Yankees Pitcher CC Sabathia and his wife, Amber. During this time she also attained her masters in Mental Health Counseling.

Her experiences, along with her education, shaped her philosophy and inspired her to form a mission rooted in the conscious care of children of all dynamics, Innovative Youth Care. Currently, Alyssa is working on building an app that will serve as a safe place for parents to find nannies and caregivers for their children, and for domestic workers to find employment with “highroad employers” (individuals with household staff working in their home, who paying workers a fair, illegal, livable wage, benefits, and more job security). This will combat the issue of childcare access by bridging communities that are aware and conscious of social issues plaguing our society, and understand their impact as a domestic employer.
